Dupont Center - A brushfire broke out along State Road 206 and U.S. 1 South on Sunday and spread rapidly causing some residents to evacuate and burning some 300 acres.
Wild winds quickly pushed the brushfire through the Dupont Center area after it broke out about 2 p.m. Sunday, said Jeremy Robshaw, Fire Rescue spokesman.
