Fire Destroys McLoed Road Mobile Home

St. Augustine, FL – A fast moving fire gutted a single wide mobile home around 08:45 am this morning according to fire officials from St Johns County Fire Rescue. Fire fighters arrived at the scene to find fire coming out of the windows of the home along with heavy smoke conditions in the trailer. SJCFR Engine 12 arrived first and went into “Fast Attack Mode”, knocking down the main body of the fire very quickly.

Additional units from Station 12, Station 16, Station 1 and Station 4 arrived to assist with water supply and mop up. After an primary and secondary search of the building, it was determined that no one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the blaze is currently being investigated by investigators from St. Johns County Fire Rescue. There were no injuries, fire service or or civilian, as a result of the fire.
