Clay County Fire Fighters Respond To Structure Fire
Green Cove Springs, FL – Shortly after 8:00 pm on Sunday, fire fighters from Clay County Fire Rescue where called to a home in the 1000 block of Bonaventure Ave for a reported residential structure fire.
Fire fighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire issuing from the rear of the structure. Fire fighters knocked the fire down very quickly though the residence was heavily damaged.
Engine 20 was the first truck to arrive followed by E22 and Battalion 1. Traffic was handled by the Green Cove Springs Police Department and there were no injuries reported as result of the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been made available at the time of this report and it remains under investigation.
